and Martha Clevenger (1850 – 1900)
Charles married Anna May Rosbrugh on 8 March 1892 in Miami Co, Indiana. They had one daughter, Delores Madge Jarrett.
His Granddaughter (my Grandma Jane) didn't get to see him often but she remembered several things about him.
He was chief dietician at a home for disabled soldiers. Until Government changes occurred, he worked and resided at the military home.
It seems that Charles was married at least one more time prior to 1920, as he is listed as widowed in that Census and his former wife, Anna (May), was still alive.
Several years before his death, he married a co-worker, Rhonda Stallings.
His Granddaughter didn't seem to remember most of the men in her family favorably. However, she told me that Charles was very well-liked and a very nice man.
She also told me that he was a 32nd degree Mason.
