Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Durling and Alice (Stetler) Ace and graduated from East Stroudsburg High School.
Janet was a baker at Pleasant Valley Manor for more than 25 years. She was a member of Keokee Chapel Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by two sons, George F. Schouppe Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Blakeslee, Jeffrey B. Schouppe of Cresco; four brothers, Richard Ace and his wife, Betty, of Stroudsburg, Robert Ace and his wife, Bernie, of East Stroudsburg, Harold Ace and his wife, SaraMae, of Bushkill, Kenneth Ace and his wife, Margaret, of Stroudsburg; four sisters, Evelyn Kindrew and her husband, bob, of Stroudsburg, Iva Hineline and her husband, Clarence, of Stroudsburg, Mary Frantz and her husband, Alfred, of East Stroudsburg, and Braneda VanWhy of Saylorsburg; two grandchildren, George Schouppe III of Blakeslee, Valerie Schouppe of Cresco; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Durling Ace and Clarence Ace.
