Edward Oiler, of Lower Mifflin township, died at his home at nine o'clock Monday morning, after an illness of 10 days from typhoid fever. He was a farmer by occupation and aged 38 years. His wife, who was a daughter of Mr. Levi Railing, survives with five children.

Mr. Oiler was a well known and respected citizen. He was a member of Center Lutheran church (sic), and was Superintendent of the Sunday school and a deacon.

The funeral was on Wednesday morning at ten o'clock.
