OBITUARY
A Mass for Thomas A. Beninato, 80, of Rahway will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Church, Elizabeth, after the funeral from the Corsentino Home for Funerals, 620 Second Ave., Elizabeth.
Mr. Beninato, who died Wednesday in Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, was the former owner of the Hirsch Tower, a well-known commercial building on Broad Street in Elizabeth, for many years before selling the property several years ago.
Earlier, he co-owned the Villa Roma Restaurant in Elizabeth, with his brother, Frank, for many years.
He was a member of the Kingston A.C. Club in Elizabeth and the Senior Citizens of St. Anthony's Church, Elizabeth.
Mr. Beninato was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Also surviving are sisters, Mrs. Catherine Yula, Mrs. Mary Conforti and Mrs. Nancy Tripoli.
