Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer (Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois), Monday, March 29, 1954:
   Mrs. Elizabeth Hall, 78, of Troy died at St. Joseph hospital in Highland Sunday.
   She was born Nov. 7, 1875 in Troy, the daughter of Adam and Catherine Schreiber Voelker, and resided in Troy all her life.
   Her husband, Noah Hall, Sr., preceded his wife in death 22 years ago. She is survived by two sons, Albert and Noah, Jr., of Troy, three daughters, Mrs. Florence Weider, Mrs. Maybelle Bernhardt and Mrs. Kate Rood, all of Troy; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Robertson and Mrs. Anna Hazzard; three brothers, Fred Voelker of Edwardsville, Charles and Adam Voelker of Troy. A number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive her.
   Friends and relatives may call at the Edwards funeral home in Troy until 2 p.m. Tuesday when funeral services will be held from the funeral home, with the Rev. R.H. Mornhinweg officiating.
   Burial will be in Friedens cemetery in Troy.
