"DEATH IN HAWAII OF MRS. STOLP IS LEARNED OF HERE

Club and Society Woman Dies Suddenly Cable Message Gives No Details

Mrs. Gordon Stolp [nee Rebecca A. Dow], Piedmont and Oakland [?] society woman died yesterday at Honolulu according to a cablegram from the island port received last night by her son Fred Stolp, Vernon street and Santa Posa avenue. The message [?] no details beyond the statement that Mrs. Stolp's death had been sudden and unexpected.

Mrs. Stolp went to the island last December and had planned to return to her home at 102 [?] Montecello avenue Piedmont in April. She had been stopping at the Alexander Young Hotel in the islands.

Mrs. Stolp was a member of the Ebell club and was well known in the Eastbay district. She is survived by a son Fred, a sister Mrs. [no more seen] . . .." END

"Funeral Service of Mrs. Stolp Is Held

Funeral services were held this afternoon for the late Mrs. Gordon Stolp [nee Rebecca A. Dow] who died in Honolulu on February 12. Mrs. Stolp who was visiting in the islands, died suddenly of apoplexy. Her body was cremated in Honolulu, the ashes arriving this morning.

Mrs. Stolp represents one of the oldest families in the Eastbay cities. She was a sister of Mrs. [?] Yorker [?] and a mother of Frederick Stolp. A member of Ebell [?]." END
