Mrs. Nina Eugenia Perdue of Shady Spring died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday in a local hospital following a long illness.
Born at Buffalo, she was a daughter of the late Charles O. Higginbotham and Sarah Elizabeth Cornell.
She belonged to the Coal River Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles A. Perdue; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Boland of Hinton, Mrs. Laura Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Lila Blackburn, Baltimore, Md.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Peace Chapel with Dr. Kenneth L. Swank officiating. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
