Janet S. Cheek, 66, of Columbus, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus, after a short illness.
Born February 14, 1946, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Raymond and Jean (Lee) Cheek.
Survivors include a brother, Gary B. Cheek (wife Marilyn) of Columbus; a niece, Crystal Martinez (husband Rudy) of Columbus; and a niece, Terri Lynn Baker of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Graveside rites will be conducted Monday, November 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus by the Rev. Guy Hardin.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
