Sharon was born February 2, 1933, in Highland Park, Michigan, to the late Harold J. and Hilda (Kennedy) Andrews. She married Fredrick Steinkopf on June 21, 1952, at the First Baptist Church of Farmington. Sadly, Fred preceded her in death on May 19, 2000. In addition to her husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Fred, on May 30, 2018, and a granddaughter, Ashlee Young on July 21, 1994.
Surviving are six children, Linda Duntley, Cindy (the late John) Shay, Beth (Ed) Liskiewicz, Sarah (Steve) Kimball, Jay (Theresa) Steinkopf and John (Lisa) Steinkopf; two sisters, Janice (the late Roy) Leverenz and Sue Smith; 23 grandchildren, Donnie (Andrea) Duntley, Rebekah Jochmans, Rachel (Lorraine) Walker, Kirsten (the late Brent) Plum, Abigail Duntley, Alyssa (Tanner) Mangrum, Stephen Duntley, Victoria Duntley, John Shay, Michael Shay, Mary (Damien) Hill, Sharon (Isaac) Marquez, Edward (Suzie Crane) Liskiewicz, Natalie Liskiewicz, Anthony (Keli) Gow, Stepfanie Steinkopf, Emily (Brian) Olszewiski, Daniel Steinkopf, Carly (Roy) White, Rachel (fiancé Tyler Coleman) Steinkopf, Leah Steinkopf, Hayley (Marcos) Bonafede and Chelsea (Eric Weintrob) Steinkopf; and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Sharon’s funeral ceremony, followed by interment at North Farmington Cemetery, will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Grace Centers of Hope, Pontiac, or Harvest Ministries, Farmington Hills.
