A son of Noble and Belle (Steele) Hendrix, he married Elsie Pritchett in 1920. They were the parents of one son, Manfred Hendrix.

Funeral Services For Everet Hendrix, Friday

Funeral services will be conducted at two o'clock Friday afternoon in the North Salem Methodist church for Everet E. Hendrix of New Ross who died of a pulmonary infection Tuesday night at the home of his nephew, John Barber, in Indianapolis. Interment in Fairview cemetery.

He served in World War I and is a member of the Byron Cox Post American Legion. He was born at Waynetown, July 5, 1896 the son of Noble and Mary Steele Hendrix of Pittsboro and was married to Miss Elsie Pritchett of Lizton. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.
