On Friday, September 13th, Elizabeth Barnhart of New Paltz, visited her brother Cornelius Barnhart of Walker Valley. She was in very feeble health when she started for the above place, and only lived five days after reaching her brother's residence, dying on the 18th, aged 54 years. The funeral services were held where she died, on Friday last, and internment in New Paltz Rural cemetery on Saturday. The deceased led a quiet life, and for many years cared for her invalid mother who died a short time ago. Since that time her health has gradually failed.
