Died suddenly, in New York, Tuesday night June 16th, Almira, wife of Jacob LeFever, of this village, aged 64 years and 6 months. Mrs. LeFever had been in poor health for some time, but was improving and was expected to return home within a short time. The dispatch announcing her death was a sudden and sever blow to her family and many friends. Funeral services were held from her late residence on Friday. Internment in New Paltz Cemetery.-

The Mrs.LeFever mentioned above is a daughter of Mrs. Peter Barnhart of New Paltz, also a sister to Cornelius Barnhart of Walker Valley.
