He was born in Pilot Rock, May 15, 1893, and lived in Portland 13 years. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist church.
The service will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Colonial mortuary, with Elders R. J. Thomas and Wesley Unterseher officiating.
Survivors are the widow, Josephine; son, Harold, and daughter, Mrs. Lois Powell, Portland; sisters, Mrs. Claud Kerchoff, Monroe; Mrs. Eva Harris, Portland, and Mrs. Floss Caplinger, Pendleton; brothers, James, Pilot Rock, and D. B., Milton, and one grandchild.
