Funeral for Benson F. Clouse, a retired bridge foreman of the Union Pacific Railway Co., will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sunnyside United Methodist Church. Private committal will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Mr. Clouse, of 2515 NE Everett St., died at his home Tuesday. He was 91.

He was born Sept. 10, 1880, in Missouri and had lived since 1945 in Portland.

He was a member of the Al Kader Shrine, Royal Arch, Knights Templar Commandery, and Sunnyside Lodge 163 AF&AM.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah I. Clouse; two foster daughters, Mrs. Natalie Butzien, Portland, and Mrs. Mildred Breakey, Seattle; and two grandchildren.
