Harry Harlow Anderson, who spent most of his life working in the cattle industry in the Pacific Northwest, will be buried at Riverview cemetery Thursday. Mr. Anderson died Sunday in Boise, Idaho after a five-month illness. He was 68.

Born in Fredonia, Kan., Mr. Anderson came to Oregon in 1887. In 1911 he married Stella Roy in Portland. Mr. Anderson was well known in business circles of Portland. In 1936 he joined the First National bank of Portland and became its first agricultural inspector. He covered eastern Oregon for the bank and worked out of La Grande. He retired from the bank in 1952.

Following his retirement Mr. Anderson worked for the Idaho state highway department as an appraiser and right of way purchaser.

Funeral was held in Boise Wednesday and the body will be at Mount Scott funeral home in Portland until Thursday afternoon. The graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m.

Survivors are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Wendell Smith, Nutley, H.J., two brothers and three grandchildren.
