She was born on August 25, 1952, in Silsbee, to Ernestine Lee and William "Buddy" Tanton. Renee` was a nurse for Southeast Texas Gastroenterology Associates.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Harris; daughters, Brandi Terry and her husband, Scot and Bridget Montemayor and her husband, Oscar; three grandchildren; mother, Ernestine Tanton; brother, Ricky Tanton and his wife, Melissa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father and sister, Lisa Tanton Ferguson.
Interment will be at R. S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee.
