A son of Andrew and Jane (Nofsker) Dodson, aged 50 years, 2 months & 7 days. He was united in marriage with Florence Smeltzer.

He was survived by his wife and these children:
Mrs. Ira Davis of Altoona;
Mrs. James E. Walter of South Lakemont;
Mrs. Harry Wiser of Langdondale;
Mrs. Pauline Yohn of Johnstown;
Mrs. David (Mildred) Williams of Altoona;
Mrs. William (Ruby) McCready of Duncansville;
Mrs. William J. Nevitt of Hollidaysburg;
Andrew R. Dodson of Everett;
John E. Dodson of South Lakemont at home;
Kenneth Dodson of South Lakemont at home;
Robert O. Dodson of Fort Meade, MD.
Also surviving, one brother and one sister:
Grant Dodson of Harrisburg;
Margaret Gates of Hopewell.

Services were held at the Methodist church at Hopewell with Rev. Ralph Jones of South Lakemont and Rev. Charles Karns of Hopewell officiating. Interment was in the Hopewell cemetery by Huff funeral service.
