Vanessa Kaye Holtkamp, 15, who resided on Rural Route 3, Mt. Sterling, a student in Brown County High School, died at 9:30 Tuesday evening, July 4.
She was born August 19, 1958, at Macomb a daughter of Wayne and Rosalie Ralston Holtkamp. She attended schools in Brown County and was a member of the Ripley Church of God.
Surviving are her brother, William H. Holtkamp of Mt. Sterling, and several aunts and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 8 at 2:00 o'clock at the Hufnagel Funeral Chapel, with Rev. James Fyfe and Rev Harry Sheets, officiating. Mrs. Hildreth Worley was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Yancil were vocalists.
Casketbearers were Harold Lewis, Francis Burnett, Harold Burnett, Gary Ralston, Brian Ralston and Danny Jones, Buirial was in the Ripley Cemetery.
