Wayne B. Holtkamp
Wayne B. Holtkamp, 50, who had resided all his life on Route 3, Mt. Sterling, where he was a farmer, died at 9:30 Tuesday evening, July 4.
Mr. Holtkamp was born in Brown County, October 22, 1921, a son of Urbin and Verley Burnett Holtkamp. He attended schools in Brown County and was a member of the Ripley Church of God. He served his country during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post, Mt. Sterling.
On February 20, 1972, he was united in marriage in Brown County with Rosalee Ralston, whose death occurred at the same time as he husband's.
Surviving are his father, Urbin Holtkamp and his step-mother, Mrs. Arley Holtkamp, both of Mt. Sterling; his son, William H. Holtkamp, Mt. Sterling; and sisters, Mrs. Jame (Della Belle) Dalton of Morton and Mrs. Glenn (Lela Faye) Logsdon of Rushville. His mother and two daughters preceded him in death.
