Obituary: ELLEN G. SWENSON Ellen Georgia Swenson, 85, died Jan. 20, 1994, in the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center, where she lived. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Prichard Chapel, Excelsior Springs. Mrs. Swenson was born in Illinois, and lived in Kansas City, Kan., before moving to Excelsior Springs in 1979. She owned the Casa Loma restaurant in Kansas City, Kan., from 1960 to 1966. She was a member of Woods Memorial Christian Church, Excelsior Springs, and a past member of Central Christian Church, Kansas City, Kan. Her husband, Harmon H. Swenson, died in 1959. Survivors include two sons, Harold Swenson, Topeka, and Wiley Swenson, Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Cheryl Faulkner, Excelsior Springs, and Rachael Creal, Signal Mountain, Tenn.; a brother, Wiley Bost, and a sister, Rachael Bell, both of Murphysboro, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
