Wanda C. (Reichart) May, age 75, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hopital. Born on June 14, 1937, in Greensboro, IN, she was the daughter of Odell and Reba (House) Reichart. She graduated from Kennard High School in 1955. She married Ronald E. May on August 1, 1968.
Wanda had worked in retail as a cashier and also as a school cook. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Greenfield. She loved to travel with her husband and fish. She also loved playing cards, especially euchre, and was a former quilter.
Surviving her are her mother; son, Charles D. Boyle of Greenfield, step-children, Gregory (Melody) May, Eric (Nina) May, Dennis (Stephanie) May, Mary May all of Indianapolis; brothers, Ronald Reichart of Clearwater, FL, Stephen (Mylynda) Reichart of Linton, IN; grandsons, Chad Allen Sexton and Brent Earl Sexton; great-grandchildren, C.J., Joshua, and April; and several step-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her father; husband; and daughter, Rhonda Sexton.
Visitation will take place on Monday, December 3, 2012, from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will take place at a later date at Hickside Cemetery in Greensboro.
