Lloyd Clinton Christopher Adams, "Chris, Uncle C" Age 75 passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012. He was a member of the Lake County Athletic Officials Association and the Indiana National Softball Fast Pitch Association. He was a graduate of Corpus Christ (Galesburg) Class of 1956. He retired from GPTC after 20 years of service and Majestic Star Casino as a security supervisor. He was currently employed as NSA Assistant State UIC Referee and Umpire. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marian Adams; niece, Lynlee Grayson; aunt, Louise Duncan; uncle, Arnett Sydes Sr. He leaves to celebrate his life's legacy 1 brother and best friend, Rodney Adams; two sisters, Charlotte (Charles) Pearl of Gary, Indiana and Juanita "Sam" Davenport of Rock Island, IL; children, Tracee (Mike) Carter, Mark Adams and David Adams all of Gary, Indiana, Christopher Eaker of Memphis, Tennessee, Stephanie (Eddie) Clark of Peoria, Illinois and Perry (DeAnna) Campbell of Olaphe, Kansas; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. All services will be held at Manuel Memorial Funeral Home 421 W. 5th Avenue. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM with family hour 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM Interment immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
