Maggie Mae Carmon Lornette, a lifelong resident of Cheek, passed away Thursday at M.D. Anderson in Houston.

Survivors include her sons, Vories Lornette, David Lornette, Sr., Martin Lornette, Sr.; daughter, Joyce Lornette; sister, Christine Collins and Mary Lee Laday; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral at New Bethel Baptist Church in Cheek with burial at Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
