Mr. Gary Lynn Washburn, 68 of Calvert City, Kentucky died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. He was the owner of Washburn's Used Cars. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
Born Sunday, September 17, 1944 in Marshall County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Milton Marshall Washburn and the late Velta Bowerman Washburn.
Surviving are wife: Geneva K. (Edwards) Washburn, Calvert City, KY; daughter, Gina Lynn Muller, husband Michael of Benton, KY, sisters, Wanda Garland of Benton, KY, Donna Harrison of Benton, KY and Brenda Robertson of Benton, KY; 2 grand children: Rebekah Muller, Benton, KY, Sarah Muller, Benton, KY.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with the Rev. Richie Clendenen, Rev. Bill Rowley, and Dr. J.T. Parish officiating.
Interment will follow in Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Collier Funeral Home.
