She was the daughter of George Franklin and Mary Frances (McCullough) Howard and married William Cooper Parks - 25 Jan 1920 - Lincoln Co., Tennessee. Her obituary follows:

Mrs. Grace Howard Parks of West Swanson Boulevard in Fayetteville died Thursday morning in Lincoln County Hospital following a brief illness. She was 78 and the wife of William Cooper Parks, Sr., who died in 1971.

A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George and Fannie McCullough Howard. Mrs. Parks was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Services were Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. B. S. Crawford officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Willie Lee Childress, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Grace Evelyn Owensby, Columbus, Georgia; three sons, Diemer Parks and Bobby Parks, both of Nashville, and Oscar Parks of Winchester; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Warren of Fayetteville, Mrs. Lillie Howard of Chattanooga, and Mrs. Glendon Eddy of Goshen, Kentucky; two brothers, Robert Howard of Howell, and Cliff Howard of Nashville; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
