Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Becks Lutheran Church with The Rev. Angie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Becks Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the church parlor prior to the service, however, the body will lie in state at Davidson Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012.
Arlene was born in Davidson County, April 27, 1921, to Roscoe Charlie Curry and Mary Jane Byerly Curry. She was a member of Becks Lutheran Church and a retired employee of Manhattan Shirt Company after 41 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terry Lee Walker who died February 3, 2005; sister, Della Mae Lanier; and brother, Roy Leonard.
Surviving are daughters, Jeannie Harrison and husband Robert, Janice Ward and husband Vernon, Angeline Foster and husband Harold, Patricia Fritts and husband Bobby and Ruth York, all of Lexington; son, Roscoe Walker and wife Ophelia of Lexington; 16 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren and three great-great-great grandchildren; and brother, Cletus Curry of Lexington.
