He enjoyed taking all his family fishing at his aunt's lodge in Northern Minnesota on Pokegama Lake, where lasting family memories were made every year in August.
He was an avid Hawkeye fan, enjoyed bingo, puzzles and going to the casino.
He was patient and kind, a friend to everyone who knew him. He worked for Armstrong Tire and Rubber for thirty years. He also served in the army in Korea.
Cliff met Bonnie Reed in 1998. They married on April 5, 2007 in Marshalltown where they resided.
Cliff is survived by his wife Bonnie; his children, Sheryl Wright, Wanda (Sam) Blair, Cliff Cook, Jr. and her children; Ronda Matherly, Melissa (Brad) Carl, Bryan (Heather) Matherly; close friends, Tommy Martindale, Jr. and Babs Johnson; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; his sister Sally Lentz; loving nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years Sandra Cook and infant son Jeff and infant daughter Angel, his parents Floyd and Sarah Cook, sisters Marilyn, Barbara, Nancy and brother Herb.
