Ruth West

Ruth West, 72, of Route 1, Callao, died this morning at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

Born July 1, 1912, at Thomas Hill, she was a daughter of John and Laura Rupp Alexander. Married to Irvin K. West on Feb 18, 1939, in Moberly. Mrs. West lived in Callao for eight years, moving there from Huntsville. She was a member of the Providence Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband, one son, Irvin E., Jefferson City, three daughters, Anna R. Peck, Los Altos, CA; Linda Jones Clawson, Pocatello, ID, and Deloris Gertrude Campbell, Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Hubert Alexander and Arnold Alexander, both of Huntsville, two sisters, Louise Crutchfield, Tulsa OK and Juanita Fuhrman, Moberly, fifteen grandchildren. One daughter preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday at Million and Taylor Chapel in Moberly.
