Born in Mapleville, he was a son of the late Alphonse and Emma (Provost) Letondress.
Mr. Letondress worked for the Bachman-Uxbridge Worsted Co. for many years before retiring in 1961.
He leaves three sons, Wilfred and Leo Letondress, both of Mapleville, David Letondress of Smithfield; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Brown Funeral Home, Victory Highway, Oakland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at Our Lady of Good Help Church, Victory Highway, Mapleville. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Pascoag.
