May 22, 1964 – Nov. 26, 2012

Doyle O'Neal Pollard, 48, of Atlanta passed from this life Nov. 26, 2012.

He was born May 22, 1964. He loved fishing, four-wheeling and jet skiing. He was a gifted mechanic and began his career as a young boy. At six years old, he began disassembling cars with a screwdriver. He was a natural, with no formal training in his field.

He would help anyone that stood in need. He was generous with his time and talents. He will be greatly missed by his family, those he knew and those he served.

He was preceded in death his brother Druey Leon Pollard.

He is survived by his father and mother, Doyle and Mary Lou Pollard; his son, Doyle O'Neal Pollard III; his daughters, Kristy Nicole and husband Justin Gilley of Amarillo and Johnnie Faye Pollard of Linden; his sisters, Patricia Pollard and Billy Ross of Nacogdoches, Carolyn Jean Baxter and Mike Villarreal of Atlanta, Teresa Gaye and husband Norman Smiley of Leitchville, Ky., Louise Lynch and husband Jeffery of Atlanta, Brenda Lynch and husband Larry of Bivins and Angela Lowry and husband Johnny of Bivins; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Nov. 30, at Bivins Cemetery with Dewayne Pollard officiating.
