THOMPSON, Virgil G., 87, of Tipp City, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018. He was born to Walter & Pauline (Glenn) Thompson on Oct. 27, 1930 in Straughn, Indiana. Virgil was a retired member of the Painter's Local #249 and had served in the Air National Guard. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Melva L. Thompson; son, Aaron “Hank” Thompson; brother, Bobby Gene Thompson. Survived by his sister & brother-in-law, Marsha & Dan Hill, and many other relatives & friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 25, 2018, at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, “Northridge Chapel,” 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Pastor Rob Wackerman, officiating.
