Beatrice "Bea" Clary Davidson, 84, of Fort Worth and Granbury, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at 1:02 a.m. Service: 3 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth. Interment: 2 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Highway 277 South, Abilene. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth Beatrice was born Nov. 24, 1928, in Hamlin to John and Maggie Rosson. She was the sixth of eight children. She married Barber Clary in Abilene in 1946. They had one child, Charlotte Ruth. She attended Abilene schools. Right out of school she was employed by Southwestern Bell and continued working for 40 years, retiring from a management position. She was awarded the title of an AT&T Pioneer, which she was very proud of. Bea was a member of the Women's Club and bridge club and attended Bridgewood Church of Christ. Bea enjoyed baking pecan pies for friends and family. Some friends called her the "pecan pie lady." She was predeceased by her first husband, Barber Clary; second husband, Duncan Davidson; daughter, Charlotte Ruth Clary; stepgranddaughter, Jennifer Davidson-Badeaux; and sisters, Marie Bruner, Pearl Taylor, Thelma Hudson, Billie Apland and Faye Palmer. Survivors: Beatrice will be remembered by her loving brother, Jim Rosson; sister, Lucille Willingham; and many family members. She is also survived by a stepson, Donald Davidson; stepgranddaughter, Melissa Epler; step great-grandchildren, Austin and Allison Epler; and 20-plus nieces and nephews and their children.
