Loren A. Grant, of Liverpool, NY, passed away at home on Saturday, November 24, 2012, with his loving wife, Sharon (Jenes), and his daughter, Kristie (Ciancaglini), at his side. He was born in Lanesville, NY, the son of the late Ralph and Estella (Smith) Grant. Loren was a proud American and United States Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post 3146 in Mattydale. Loren worked for Syracuse Transit/Centro Bus companies for over 33 years. He loved the outdoors, gardening, bird watching, the NY Yankees and riding his red bike. Loren is survived by his loving wife, family and wonderful friends. Loren's family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to the remarkable staff at Crouse Hospital for their loving care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.), North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
