MARION LOUISE PIERCE - 83, Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg, died May 11, 1996, in the home. Born at Martins River, Lunenburg Co., formerly of Mahone Bay, she was a daughter of the late Eva Idella Langille. She was a member of St. Martin's Anglican Church and the altar guild, Martin's River. In her earlier years she was a secretary of Martin's River Home and School Association and was very active in her community. Surviving are daughters, Eva (Mrs. Robert Hatt), Chester Basin; Rosalie (Mrs. Charles Berry), Lower Sackville; Thelma Pierce, Chester Grant; Sheila (Mrs. David Cleveland), Hebbville; sons, Terry, Western Shore,; Darrell, Bridgewater; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robie Howell. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martin's River, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Burial in St. Martin's Cemetery. Donations to St. Martin's memorial fund or Habour View Haven Home for Special Care.
