PRCS Terry Lee "TL" Hanson Ret. USN, 66 of Jacksonville, FL died Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Mr. Hanson was a native of St. Paul, MN and a resident of Jacksonville since 1979. He retired from the US Navy after 30 years of service where he was a parachute rigger. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Amelia A. Hanson, four sons, Michael (Shana) Hanson, Cary (Teri) Hanson, Dennis (Sheila) Hanson and Brandon Hanson, two daughters Alison (Jerry) Partington and Rhoda Hanson, four sisters, Lois (Dave) Torgerson, Jody (Marvin) Hansen, Linda (Dennis) Brady and Ka`ren (Steve) Rasmussen, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Monday, December 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial to follow at 2:00 pm in the Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation with family will be from 9-10:00 prior to services. Arrangements are under the care of Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery, Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2335 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
