born October 28, 1963 went to be with the Lord on Sun, Nov 25, 2012 in Savannah, GA, after being in a freak accident on Thanksgiving Day. He was surrounded by his family as he made his transition from this earth to eternal life at 7pm EST. Rob was a faithful Christian with a heart as big as the moon and a wealth of loyal friends in Lexington, Nashville, Louisville, Savannah, and Northern KY. He was the beloved son of Bobby Lou and Jack Brooks of Lexington and is survived by his mother; his brother Michael A. Brooks and sister-in-law, Betty, of Savannah; his sister Deborah L. Brooks of Cincinnati; and his beloved nephew, Michael Jack Brooks, and his great niece, Ruby Brooks, of Erlanger, KY. He is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle Pat and Ival Acra, and his beloved cousin Elizabeth Dehner and family of Erlanger, and his cousin Mark Acra and family of Nancy, KY. He is also survived by his special friend Heather Burczynski. Visitation will be held at the First Church of God, 505 Kingston Rd, in Lexington, on Dec 1 from 1:30-3:30pm. Funeral services will follow immediately, with Rev. Ancil Abney officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Rob's memory to the First Church of God, Hospice of Savannah, or the Lexington Humane Society. Burial services will be held at 1pm on Dec 3, 2012 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger.
