A Celebration of Life will be noon Friday at Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Timothy Perryman and the Reverend Willie L. Hinton officiating. Inhumation will follow in Rosenwald Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Era Victoria Brady Stovall-Warren was the last of seven siblings born on November 18, 1930 to the union of the late Nancy and Zachary M. Brady in Moulton, Alabama. She departed this life on March 2, 2017 at her residence.

Mother Warren attended Moulton High School and was well known for keeping her home and the homes of others in immaculate condition. She worked hard rearing four children alone for many years while working at Moulton Cleaners. In 1952, she married the love of her life, Sterling Warren Sr., a man who chose to help nurture her children, his children and their daughter as a family until he preceded her in death in 1989.

Mrs. Era confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church. She became very active in the Lord while attending Freeman Tabernacle. She was a member of the Mother Board, Missionary Society, Usher Board and a long term member of the Progressive Chapter #464 Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Sterling Warren Sr.; an only son, Elee Stovall Jr.; siblings: J.C. Moore; Bennie Moore; Dan Moore; Lissie Mae Moore; Willie Moore-Jordan and Tommie Lee Moore and her grandparents, Melissa and Ben Warren.

Mother Warren leaves to cherish four loving daughters: Patricia Stovall (Faheemah and Siddeeq) El-Amin of Plainfield, NJ; Jeanette Stovall-Alexander of Huntsville, Al; Frances Ann Stovall-Kenion of Trotwood, Oh and Cynthia Warren Jackson (Ronnie)Moulton, Alabama; one loving and devoted daughter-in-law, India (Elee Jr.) Robinson Stovall of Huntsville, Alabama; a loving and devoted companion for 24 years, Mr. O’Neal Sanders, Huntsville, Al.; a devoted nephew Willie “Butch” (Lynn) Jordan, Montgomery, Al; step-children: Maretta Carol Williams of Huntsville, Al, Sterling Warren Jr. (Pookie) and Glenda Warren (Willie) McElrath of Moulton, Al.

Mother Warren was affectionately called “Big Momma” by her grandchildren had a deep loving heart for each of them: Pamela Alexander (Darryl Riche), Huntsville, Al; Johnathan Stovall of Dayton, OH; Bobbie Yvette (Stevie) Welch of Trotwood, OH; Edward and Stovall Alexander of Huntsville, Al; Shelby Leonard of Dayton, OH; Faiq El-Amin, New York; Bayyinah El-Amin and Mahasin El-Amin of Plainfield, NJ; Elee Yadasor and Okorie Stovall Huntsville, Al; Kenyatta (Maurice) Adams, McCalla, Al; David Stovall of New York; Joel Stovall, Dallas, TX; Sterling Durand (Brooke) Jackson, Harvest, Al. and Kristian Jackson of Moulton, Al. Step grandchildren: Claude (Melissa) Williams, Pennsylvania; Angela Williams, Huntsville, Al and McElrath and a host of great-grands and four great-great grands, nieces, nephews and step grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
