The following is taken from a compilation by George McKenzie Roberts entitled Revolutionary War Soldiers of Enfield, NH; this manuscript is located at the Enfield, NH Library.

Solomon is listed in the land records of Enfield, NH from 1810 to 1831 and his estate is listed from 1831 to 1848.
Relative to the Revolutionary War:
a. He is listed in a return for equipment dated 4-21-1778 as a private in the 3rd Company, Captain David Low; 3rd Essex County Mass Regiment,Colonel Jonathan Cogswell.
b. He is listed in a return of Train Band & Alarm List dated April 30,1778 as a private belonging to the Train Band in 3rd Company, Capt. David Low.
c. He is a private in Capt. Thomas Cummins Co.; Colonel Jacob Gerrish's Mass Regiment which was detached from the militia of Essex & Suffolk Counties to reinforce the army under Gen. Washington. He enlisted 10-14-1779 and was discharged 11-22-1779, service 1 month 20 days.
d. He enlisted 7-13-1781 as a private (also Drummer) in Capt John Robinson's Co., Colonel Wm. Turner's Mass Regiment, raised in Essex County for 5 months. He was discharged 12-1-1781, service 4 months 22days, at Rhode Island.
e. he is not listed in the Index of Revolutionary War pension applications.
