Mrs. Cemantha Mundell Waychoff, widow of Professor Andrew J. Waychoff, and mother of Judge Challen Waychoff, died Saturday evening, October 8, at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank B Hill, 367 Huffman Street, Waynesburg. For many years she was an instructor in Waynesburg College and was prominently known. Mrs. Waychoff was born at Willow Tree, Greene County, November 16, 1853, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Reeves Mundell, and was the youngest and last of a family of ten children. She was married to Professor Andrew J. Waychoff, November 26, 1873. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in the fall of 1923. Surviving are the following children: Judge Challen W. Waychoff, Andrew J. Waychoff, Jr., Oma Mary, wife of Frank B. Hill, Waynesburg; Clyde C Waychoff of Bellevue, Ohio; Glenn A. Waychoff, Tacoma, Washington; Nettie E. wife of Dr. Charles R. Meek, Lorain, Ohio; one son, Attorney J. Waychoff died in 1931. Seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mrs. Cemantha Mundell Waychoff, widow of Professor Andrew J. Waychoff, of Waynesburg, will be held Monday, October 10, at 2 o'clock p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Hill, 367 Huffman Street, with Rev. Harvey W. Funk officiating. Interment will be in the Glades Cemetery.
