Sarah Ann Richards, 89, of Westville, passed away at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at home.
She was born Oct. 15, 1923 in Ridge Farm, the daughter of Charles E. and Aura Lee Baldwin Abston. She married Rex W. Richards Sr. on May 3, 1941 in Paris, Illinois. He passed away on May 21, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Donald E. Richards Sr.; daughters, Marylee Richards, Donna Deloris Maskel and Carol Ann Hutchens; brothers, Robert Abston and Wilbur Baldwin; sister, Ethel Cook and two grandsons, Harold Ray Maskel Jr. and Steven Randle Cole.
She is survived by her sons, Jack Richards and Rex Jr. (Cheryl) Richards; daughters, Sally (Bill) Bland, Peggy Cole, Pamela (Raymond) Hilleary, Patricia Bostwick, Janet (Bill) Williams, Vicky (Mike) Cassidy and Lisa (Bill) Unzicker; her sisters, Hazel O'Bryan, Nina Richardson and Kathleen Lashbrook; 42 grandchildren; 97 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
