Born August 10, 1926 in Doylestown, she was a daughter of the late Elias and Mary Ann (Alderfer) Swartley.
She was a long-time member of Doylestown Mennonite Church.
She had worked for over 10 years on the production line for the Ted Gross Poultry Processing Plant, Doylestown. Mrs. Yoder was a former election official in Buckingham Township and a volunteer for various activities at Plumstead Christian School, Plumsteadville. She was a former Sunday School teacher, an active member in the church's sewing circle and was known for her quilting and interest in gardening.
She is survived by a son, Arthur H. Yoder II of Doylestown; a brother, Lawrence Swartley, and his wife Ruth of Wysox; and a sister, Grace Detweiler, and her husband Raymond of Blooming Glen. She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Yoder.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004 at Doylestown Mennonite Church. Interment was in adjoining cemetery.
