NEW CASTLE, Ind.--Marie M. Lawson, 77, 1812 Columbus St., died unexpectedly Thursday at her home.
A native of Covington, Ind., she moved to New Castle after marrying Thomas Lawson in 1923. She was a member of Sunnyside Church of God.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Aurita Loveless, Mrs. Juanita Lockridge and Mrs. Rose Parmley, all of New Castle; six sons, Randall of Muncie, Larry and Dwight of New Castle, Paul of Tennessee, William of West Lafayette and Phillip of Anderson; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband died in 1963. She also was preceded in death by a son and eight brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Sunnyside Church of God, with Brother James Nipp and Brother Charles Green officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at Macer Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. today, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and at the church one hour before services Monday.
