He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace; brothers, Melvin and Mickey Rodgers; and daughter, Linda Carroll. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Murray and husband John; brother, C.W. Rodgers and wife Lorraine; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Private family services at a later date.
