Lucille Glover, 92, of Richmond, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Beverly Golden Rule after a short illness.
She was born March 29, 1915, in Richmond to Albert and Elva Stout Maines. She lived in Richmond until 1967 when she lived in Michigan and New York. She returned to Richmond in 1982.
Lucille worked as a nanny. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Church Women United. She also enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include one son, Marvin and wife Joan Glover of Tipton, Mich.; one daughter. Janet Hurley of Richmond; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Glover of Richmond; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Ervin Glover, died in 1957; one son, Donald Glover; and two sisters, Floreene Clifton and Nellie Bell, are also deceased.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, 222 N. 10th St., Richmond, with Rev. Cheryl Garbe officiating. Burial will be at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Lynn. Friends may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
