A native of Dillon, SC, Mrs. Nix was the daughter of the late Eugene Childs and Mary Belle Cottingham Stanton. She was a Data Control Clerk at Clemson University Graduate School and a member of Walhalla Presbyterian Church. She was in the Sew What New, and Family and Community Leader Clubs.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nix was predeceased by her first husband, William Hamilton Crenshaw of Pendleton; four brothers; and one sister.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Bethel Presbyterian Church cemetery, Walhalla, SC.
A Celebration of Life service will also be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Walhalla Presbyterian Church, followed by a reception at the church.
