Board and head of higher education, institutions of the People's Commissariat. Since Sept.. 1918 pers. PBC 2nd Army Eastern. Front, played an important role in its organizational development and successful military operations against the Whites in Izhevsk-Votkinsk borough, in the battles for the liberation of Kama and Compare. In 1883 and then entered Moscow University in the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. He assisted Fedor Bredikhin in cometary research at the university's observatory. For his investigation of the longevity of Jupiter's Great Red Spot, he was awarded a gold medal in the year of his graduation (1887).
