In Memory of…..Charles Samuel Patterson.

You may be gone, no longer living on this earth; but you will live on - in the memories of your family and friends. There will always be a part of you living in those who knew you. You will live on because we remember you!

Patterson, Charles Samuel 96 years of age. Oct. 28, 1915 and died on May 16, 2012.

Charles passed from this life into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on May 16, 2012 in Kirkland, Wash.

Charles was a WWII Veteran and served in both active and reserve duties until he retired in 1975 as a Master Chief Aerographer's Mate.

He worked for the U.S. Government as a Hydrologist until 1977.

Charles enjoyed many activities including golf, square dancing and church activities. Charles traveled the world in his later years and enjoyed many adventures, including bungee jumping in Australia at 87 years old!

Charles was preceded in death by his wife,Audrey; as well as his eldest son, Bruce Patterson.

He is survived by his sister, Dolores Serylo; his daughter, Bonnie Wray (David); as well as his son, Barry Patterson (Cynthia); and two grandsons, Eric and Alex.

A service will be held in the committal shelter at Willamette National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 19 at 1 p.m.

All are welcome to join in the celebration of Charles' life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eastgate Bible Church in Portland or Union Gospel Mission.
