Mrs. Matilda Pearce, age 73, wife of Oliver L. Pearce, died Thursday night at her home, 1021 East Tenth street, Park Place. Death was due to blood poisoning, resulting, it was believed from a slight finger nail scratch, which she accidentally inflicted upon herself last Monday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the home, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Pearce are her husband, a local drayman; a foster daughter, Mrs. Harry Bronnenberg, of Anderson; a son, John Hall, of St. Paul, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. John Finney, of this city; a granddaughter, Mrs. Hazel Hall, and two brothers, Richard Romine and Frank Romine of Anderson.
