C. Irene Leary, 86, a life long resident of Beaver, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Elmcroft Nursing Facility in Chippewa Township.

She was born January 7, 1926, in Beaver, and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Grace Chippardy Romigh. Irene retired after 30 years from the former Beglin Ford in Bridgewater, was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver and was a member and former officer of the Marion Guild of the Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. Leary, on January 17, 1997, and a brother, Lee Romigh.

Irene is survived by four sons, Gerald J. (Susan) Leary II, Whispering Pines, NC; Patrick M. (Linda) Leary, Sharon, PA; David F. (Robin) Leary, Beaver and Michael S. (Julie) Leary, Columbus, OH; a daughter, Katherine (Mark) Malone, Sciotoville, OH; grandchildren, Jill and Lt. Alex Leary, Patrick (Christie) Leary, Megan Leary, Evan (Jen) Leary, Matthew (Melissa) Leary, Sean, Kevin and Kate Leary, Elizabeth (Jeremie) Rupnik, Amanda Swiontek, Brenna (Danny) Sweeney, and Shelby (Todd) Gilliland; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Maddie, Avery Leary, Paige and Abby Tatta, Finnegan Leary, Elena and Jeremie Rupnik, Killian Swiontek, Devyn and Alexis Gilliland and Eva and Aubrey Sweeney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Church, Beaver, by Father Robert Miller. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.

The family suggests contributions, in Irene's memory, may be made to McGuire Home, New Brighton.
