Russian journalist, writer, a veteran of World War II. He was born in Rostov-on-Don. He graduated from the Industrial and Economic College, University of North Caucasus. Since 1931 - the correspondent, then head of the organizational and mass sector of the magazine "trade unionists", editor of the literary department of the magazine "Our achievements" (since 1932). During the Great Patriotic War - Senior Instructor political directorate of the Northern Fleet, also worked in the offices of the North Sea circulation newspapers. Later worked with the Military Publishing House, the publishing house "Young Guard", "Literary Gazette". Member of the Union of Writers of the USSR (1943).
